Code Unnati expands to Odisha: launches training on next-gen technologies, on 30 August 2018, at National Skills Training Institute, Bhubaneshwar

On August 30th, SAP India signed an MoU with NSIC for Skill Development of Small and Medium enterprises and youth on Enterprise Software in the country in presence of Sh. Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship; emphasizing that job opportunities for youth is not a political issue, but a collective responsibility.

SAP will facilitate the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in India, to provide training and enablement courses on the ERP platform of SAP ‘Business One’ software. This joint program will not only provide access to an innovative enterprise for MSMEs in the country but also be a step towards Industry 4.0.

The training will be delivered on next-gen technologies viz., Data Modelling & visualization, introduction to Machine Learning, Quick View, R, Tableau. In the first phase, 30 teachers will be trained, and in next 6 months approx. 200 teachers will be trained.

Job oriented skilling is a critical need of India Inc. & various industries, and the students equipped with the practical knowledge of Enterprise software and Data Sciences will power the creation of a new India.
